Saif shifted out of ICU, recuperating

Mumbai, Feb 21 (UNI) Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Lilavati Hospital here in Mumbai after complaining of chest pain, has been shifted out of the ICU, into another room, and is said to be recovering.

Saif's spokesperson told UNI,''Saif has been shifted out of the ICU into another room and he is doing fine. He is recovering and will be kept in the hospital for a couple of days. All his reports are clear.'' Saif, who was supposed to perform at the grand finale at the Kenstar Max Stardust awards on Sunday at the MMRDA grounds, complained of chest pain after rehearsels and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital where doctors performed angiography on him.

Saif, who won the Kenstar Max Stardust award for his negative role in the Film ''Omkara'', was not present to collect the award which made Vishal Bharadwaj, the maker of the film, wonder where he was. Vishal collected the award on his behalf.

Several stars visited Lilavati Hospital to enquire about Saif's health apart from sister Soha Ali Khan, girlfriend Rosa and mother Sharmila Tagore included Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta, Fardeen Khan and wife Natasha, Malaika and Arbaz Khan, Amrita Arora, Pradeep Sarkar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and others.
