Jamshedpur, Feb 21 (UNI) Former Jharkhand chief minister Arjun Munda will launch a BJP-sponsored ''Shramdan''(Voluntary labour) and ''Pardafans'' (Unmasking) programme of the present government at Hatgamharia in West Singhbhum district tomorrow demanding immediate construction of a 45-km stretch of Hatgamharia-Baraiburu road.

Significantly, starting the mending and construction of the road was one of the major causes of falling of the BJP led Munda government in September last year.

Munda's successor Madhu Koda had made the ''road's deplorable condition'' a major issue to dislodge the government.

BJP sources here said thousands of party workers and many senior leaders will take part in the agitation beginning tomorrow.

The BJP alleged the Madhu Koda led UPA government has failed to come out with tenders for construction of the road. Though the new government came to power five months ago the work had still not started, the sources said.

The BJP was now trying to focus on the failure of the state government by raising the road issue and also seeks people's help in constructing the road.

Meanwhile, the West Singhbhum district administration has beefed up the security arrangement in view of tomorrow's agitational programmes.

Meanwhile, the sources of Nagarjun Construction, which got the tender to construct the road, said the construction of the road would begin from February 28. A team of the company also inspected the road yesterday, the source said.
