J'khand tops in corruption: Marandi
Bokaro, Feb 21 (UNI) Jharkhand's former Chief Minister and Koderma MP Babulal Marandi has alleged that the state topped the list in corruption, replacing its neighbour Bihar.
Talking to UNI last evening, Mr Marandi said, '' The ministers in the Koda government were more concerned about their transfers instead of showing interest in developmental projects.'' Expecting any development from the present government is 'useless' Mr Marandi said, adding that there was total 'anarchy' in the government offices.
Mr Marandi said, during his regime, about 128 officals were put behind bars and he had resigned from this post, rather than compromise with corruption.
The former chief minister further said people would come out to the roads if the Madhu Koda led UPA government was not removed from power by March.
