BJP condemns AP Govt's rhetoric on minorities reservation

Hyderabad, Feb 21 (UNI) The BJP in Andhra Pradesh unit today condemned the State Government for airing its views on reservation for Muslims when the matter was subjudice.

'While the matter is still pending in the Supreme Court and the Constitution Bench is yet to be constituted to decide the matter, the frequent rhetoric by the Chief Minister and other Ministers amounts to disrespecting the courts,' State BJP Spokesman N Ramanchander Rao said in a statement here.

He urged the Government to desist from appeasing minorities and playing vote bank politics.
