Stallone's hotel, plane searched in Sydney - media
CANBERRA, Feb 20 (Reuters) Sylvester Stallone's hotel room, private plane and limousine were searched, Australian media today reported, just days after prohibited items were seized from his luggage at Sydney airport.
The searches in Sydney, a few hours before he left the country, came as Australian Customs investigates prohibited items seized from the 60-year-old movie star's luggage when he flew into the city on Friday to promote his latest Rocky movie.
''To (customs) it's major, but it's really minor stuff. I just made a mistake,'' the Daily Telegraph quoted Stallone as saying.
Customs has not given details of the seized items and a spokeswoman refused to comment on reports of further searches, as did the hotel the muscle-bound actor was staying at.
Stallone left Australia yesterday night, after a three-hour delay, to begin filming the fourth film in his Rambo series, ''Pearl of the Cobra'', the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
