M P Assembly pays tributes to Shukla

Assembly
today
paidglowing
tributes
to
former
Chief
Minister
Shyama
Charan
Shukla
andothers
and
adjourned
its
sitting
till
tomorrow
as
a
mark
of
respect
tothe
departed
leaders.
The
house
also
observed
two
minutes
silence
to
mourn
their
death.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said Mr Shukla, who died atRaipur a week ago, symbolised clean and value based politics. He nevercompromised on his principles and preferred to stay away frommainstream politics. Mr Shukla would be known for his keen interest inthe state's development, particularly in spreading irrigation network,Mr Chouhan added.
As the house assembled for the day, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani readout the obituary reference and paid tributes to the departed leaders.
The house also paid tributes to former union minister Mrs SukhbansKaur, former Rajya Sabha member Mohammad Ali Ansari, former membersNarhari Prasad Sharma, Mr Mahesh Dutt Mishra, Mr Ramesh ChandraBargale, Mr Ramchandra Parteti and Mr Ram Prasad Ahirwar and spiritualleader Sant Hirdaram, who died during inter-session period.
