Samjhauta blast, Haryana police leaves for Delhi
Chandigarh, Feb 20: A special team of the Haryana police has left for Delhi to join the investigations into the conspiracy behind the twin blasts in the Samjhauta Express yesterday.
DIG (Crime) R C Mishra, who heads the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the Haryana government, told UNI that the team which left for the national capital would liaise with the Delhi police to unravel the conspiracy behind the terrorists' strike on the train.
The team would go to the Old Delhi railway station, the starting point of the train, and try to find out the role of any suspicious elements who might have boarded the train there and kept the explosives in it.
The team would examine all other aspects of the conspiracy behind the blasts, he said.
