Goa CLP for Assembly elections on May 6
Panaji, Feb 20 (UNI) The Goa Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has expressed its favour for holding the Assembly elections on May 6.
The CLP, which met here today under the leadership of Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane, has also favoured according official status to Roman Konkani script and Marathi, sources said.
That apart, the CLP felt that the demand for enhancing the superannuation age of all government employees to 60, should be considered.
Among other things, the CLP meet discussed the forthcoming elections, the various developmental projects, and the financial bill to be tabled in the House to facilitate a vote-on-account for four months in 2007-08.
