Speaker condemns train blast

New Delhi, Feb 19 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the loss of lives in the ghastly attack on the Samjhauta Express today and copndemned the incident.

In a statement issued here, he hoped auch acts do not result in derailing the ongoing peace process which is in the interest of the people of the sub-continent as a whole.

The Speaker wished the injured a speedy and complete recovery and also conveyed his sympathies to the members of the bereaved families.
