Samjhauta Blast nefarious designs : Dhumal
Hamirpur, Feb 19 (UNI) BJP leader and former Himachal Pradesh chief minister, Prem Kumar Dhumal today expressed shock over killing of 66 passengers in the Samjhauta Express blast in Haryana and blamed the lackluster policies of the UPA government for it.
Talking to UNI, he said the bomb blast in the train was ''a dastardly act aimed at dislodging the attempts to normalise the Indo-Pak relations''.
Criticising the Centre, he said the UPA government's approach lacked a concerted policy to tackle terrorists operating in various parts of the country and demanded that POTA should remain and a clear-cut policy be drawn to deal with terrorists.
''The time had come when all should act unitedly, in a tough manner, to thwart the nefarious designs of terrorists and their harbourers,'' Mr Dhumal said.
