Madhya Pradesh Assembly session begins
Bhopal, Feb 19: The budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly began today with formal address by Governor Balram Jakhar.
The session, which is scheduled to conclude on April 5, started with rendering of ''Vande Mataram''.
Mr Devendra Varma(BJP), who was elected from Pandhana in a byelection, took oath as member of the house.
After the Governor's address, which was marred by interruption by opposition members, Mrs Sudha Jain(BJP) moved the vote of thanks on the Governor's address to the house and it was seconded by Mr Dal Singh Bisen(BJP).
While adjourning the sitting till tomorrow, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said Yoga guru Ramdeo will impart yoga training to the legislators at the Assembly premises tomorrow morning.
