Mamata's condition is stable

Kolkata, Feb 19(UNI) Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee's condition was "stable" and "progressing well", who had undergone a gall bladder surgery yesterday, doctors attending on her said today.

Ms Banerjee was admitted on Saturday in a city nursing home in South Kolkata after she complained pain her abdomen.

According to the nursing home sources, Ms Banerjee was "doing fine and progressing well" and she was put on oxygen and saline support.

She would be kept in the nursing home for few more days, the doctors said.
