Four naxals surrender in AP

Ongole, Feb 19 (UNI) Four CPI (Maoist) naxals including Nallamalla Forest Committee member K Venkata Rao surrendered before Superintendent of Police N Balasubramanian here this evening.

Venkat Rao alias Ganganna, allegedly involved in the murder of former Atmakur MLA Vengala Reddy and blasting of the Srisailam Police Station, Uppaguntur Railway Station, carried a reward of Rs three lakh on his head.

While Rao, also Prakasam district party Executive Committee member, was given Rs three lakh under the rehabilitation package, his associate Kistappa got Rs 50,000 and the other two naxals Ramanjaneyulu and Siva Reddy Rs 20,000 each.
