Diamond Cables secures order under RGGVY

New Delhi, Feb 19: Diamond Cables Ltd today said it has bagged a large turnkey order under Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidhyutikaran Yojna (RGGVY), to be implemented in Vadodara and Anand districts of Gujarat.

The project envisages supply and erection of 11 Kv 180 kms line, about 700 kms of low tension lines, supply and erection of 361 transformers and providing service connections to over 69,000 households falling under the jurisdiction of Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (MGVCL).

The company's power infrastructure group has participated in 13 more packages under the RGGVY scheme.

The group, formed in November 2006, expects to generate a revenue of Rs 150 crore in 2OO7-2008.
