Bomb hoax in Charminar Express

Hyderabad, Feb 19 (UNI) An anonymous call that a bomb was planted in the Charminar Express turned out to be a hoax.

According to Railway sources, the Raiwlay Police at Namapalli Railway Station received a call warning a bomb being planted in the S2 coach of the Charminar express, few minutes after it left Nampalli Station.

The train was halted at Secunderabad Raiwaly station. The bomb disposal squad carried out a thorough check and frisked the baggage of the passengers, but no expolosive was found.

The train left for Chennai at 1900 hours after suffering a detention of one hour.
