TA jawans thrill Kolhapur citizens

Kolhapur, Feb 18 (UNI) The Maratha Territorial Army (TA) organised a ceremonial parade and put up a thrilling band display here today.

The event was organised by the Territorial Army with a view to strike a rapport with the locals.

The Maratha Territorial Army, which had participated in the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi for the first time, was adjudged the best contingent in administration and was adjudged the fourth best marching contingent.

The jawans of the Territorial Army, later, enthralled the spectators with thrilling ''malkhamb'', ''lezim'', and ''jhanz pathak'' displays. A large number of people had gathered to witness the event.
