The police have arrested Ratlam Christian Hospital Superintendent P William and sweeper Jagram. District Collector J L Malpani formed a five-member team led by Civil Surgeon K C Pathak, who is to submit a report within a week.

''The team includes Pediatrician R J Kaushal, Gynaecologist Mamta Sharma, the Ujjain-based Pollution Control Board's Dr Lalita Sharma and Dr Pradeep Khare,'' Mr Malpani said at a press conference.

''Hospital records reveal that about 300 deliveries and 35 abortions took place last year,'' said Deputy Inspector-General Varun Kapoor.
