MP: Text books meant for free distribution seized

Shahdol(MP), Feb 17: Several thousand text books meant for free distribution under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in Madhya Pradesh have been seized while on display for sale at a book fair at Anuppur, official sources said today.

These books were freely distributed by the Madhya Pradesh government, but 'free of cost' inscription had been erased in the seized books.

On a complaint by few people, Collector K K Khare banned sale of such books in the fair which started on February 15.
