Kenyan man kills wife's lover after toilet tryst

NYERI, Kenya, Feb 17 (Reuters) A Kenyan man hacked his wife's lover to death with a machete after he found the couple having sex in a toilet, police said today.

The man had come home and went to use the latrine, but found the pair locked in the small wooden cubicle at his village home in central Kenya.

''(The lover) who was armed with a machete came out ... But the incensed husband snatched the machete from his wife's lover and hacked him to death, killing him on the spot,'' said police officer Charles Okweya.

Okweya said the man was being held by the police, while his wife had disappeared.
