Two arrested for supplying arms to Maoists

Latehar, Feb 16 (UNI) Police today arrested two persons for their involvement in providing arms and financial support to the CPI (Maoist) ultras from Mahutand police station area here.

Superintendent of Police R K Dhan here said the arrested duo had links with ultras and they used to collect levy for them.

They were also involved in several naxal operations, Mr Dhan added.

Meanwhile, the highwayman looted property worth Rs one lakh from the bus passengers at Amjharia Ghati after blocking the roads, police said.
