SPML wins Rs 5,000 cr projects in Gujarat

New Delhi, Feb 16 (UNI) Subhash Projects and Marketing Ltd (SPML), one of the country's largest integrated engineering companies, today bagged projects worth Rs 5,000 crore in Gujarat.

The five-year projects will cover development of townships, utilities management, construction of roads and real estate development, which includes malls, entertainment plazas and car parks.

''We will bring with itself cost efficiencies, innovative technology and our 25 years of experience in successful execution of projects all over the country,'' SPML Managing Director Sushil Sethi said.

In this regard, the company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gujarat government, a statement said.

The projects will be executed in Ahmedabad and other cities including Gandhidham, Vadodara, Surat, Bharuch, Rajkot.

SPML will include project construction, operation and maintenance as well as rehabilitation work.

SPML, with its core competencies in water projects, power distribution, rural electrification, infrastructure and environmental engineering has previously worked on the Saurasthra Water Supply projects in Gujarat.
