Outlets raided; pulses worth Rs 21 lakh seized

Visakhapatnam, Feb 16 (UNI) The district Vigilance and Enforcement officials today raided four outlets, including three shopping malls, and seized pulses worth Rs 21 lakh.

According to Vigilance Inspector Srinivas, raids were conducted on Sahil Traders, Spencer's Market, Big Bazaar and Panta Pantaloons Food Products in the city. The officials seized 623 quintals of pulses and rice stock.

A case was registered against another outlet Prakash Traders for allegedly selling Rs 1.4 crore worth rice without entering into accounts.
