Hyderabad, Feb 16 (UNI) With the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council slated for revival on March 30, the ruling Congress is wooing the CPI and its estranged ally Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), to have the maximum representation in the upper House.

Talking to reporters after the Pradesh Election Committee meeting, which decided to leave the issue of selection of party candidates to the high command, Pradesh Congress president and MP, K Keshava Rao, said ''I am negotiating with both the TRS and the CPI. We want to give one seat from the state Assembly and one from local authorities to the CPI''.

Replying to question on the progress of talks with the two parties, Mr Rao, who will meet Party president Sonia Gandhi along with Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy tomorrow to put-forth their views, said, ''the situation is still fluid.'' Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, along with former Chief Ministers N Bhaskara Rao and N Janardhana Reddy, wanted the High Command to ensure 'social justice' by giving adequate representation to SCs, STs, BCs, Minorities and Women, he said.
