Iraq Qaeda group denies leader injured - Web
DUBAI, Feb 16 (Reuters) An al Qaeda-backed Iraqi group denied today that the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Ayyub al-Masri, had been wounded in a clash north of Baghdad, according to a statement posted on the Internet.
The statement from the self-styled Islamic State in Iraq said the report was fabricated by the Iraqi government and was proof of its ''bankruptcy''.
