Puducherry, Feb 16: Students of the Indira Gandhi Arts and Science College at Kadirgamam near here today abstained from classes and staged in a dharna before of the Chief Minister's residence to press their demands.

The students then took out a procession to the Assembly.
Chief Minister N Rangasamy, who saw this, stopped his vehicle and asked five of their representatives to meet him at Assembly.
