12 hurt as groups clash over drain water dispute

Jaipur, Feb 16: Twelve people were injured as two groups indulged in stone-pelting over a dispute on drain water here today.

According to police, people from two different communities in Lodho ki Gali in Muslim Musafir Khana started a quarrel over the drain water. The quarrel resulted in a flare up and both the groups started pelting stones at each other.

The injured were taken to a local hospital where they were given first aid and later released.

Additional police force have been deployed in the region sensing tension in the area. The police have, however, not lodged any case.
