Uncle charged with murder of Casey, two

LONDON, Feb 14 (Reuters) The uncle of two-year-old Casey Leigh Mullen has been charged with her rape and murder, British police said today.

Michael Mullen, 21, from Leeds, will appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

Casey was found dead at her home in Gipton, Leeds, on Sunday.

A post mortem later revealed the cause of death to be ''compression of the neck''.

Neighbours, who left floral tributes outside her house, said Casey was a girl who was always smiling.
