Indians contribute significantly in Qatar's development: Somnath
Dubai, Feb 15 (UNI) Qatar and India have many common interests and a perfect symbiotic relationship in various areas, including technology transfer, said Lok Sabha speaker Somnath Chatterjee.
Mr Chatterjee, who was in Doha yesterday on his way back to India after a visit to Saudi Arabia, said Qatar had been large-hearted in appreciating and honouring the worth of Indian professionals who have contributed to its development.
''A fair share of credit for Qatar's quick development can be attributed to the presence of skilled Indian professionals," he told The Peninsula.
''You name the field and Indians have proved their mettle here," he said.
