Patna, Feb 14 (UNI) Inspired by the love guru Matuknath Chaudhary who had recently become a symbol of love for over enthusiastic youth of the state, love birds celebrated the Valentine's day by exchanging the flowers and gifts with their loved ones.

The love birds remained undeterred by the treats of saffron brigades who were on the streets of Patna and some other parts of the state to prevent them from celebrating the day.

The ongoing filmfestival in state capital provided the opportunity to the couples to spend their time while enjoying films.Botanical garden was another hot spot where the love birds thronged and enjoyed the day with their partners.

In this high-tech era, those who could not celebrate the day with their partners, expressed their feelings through e-mail and SMS while some flashed their message through local cable channels and community radio network.

Several shopkeepers also enjoyed the day as youths were busy purchasing gifts for their loved ones.Flowers of different colours especially roses were much in demand at different flower stalls of the state capital.

In a quest to win the hearts of their partners, youths were not shying away to pay even higher price of the gifts.
