Sunny weather after cloudy morning

Kolkata, Feb 14 (UNI) After a cloudy morning the sun made a strong appearance today dispelling the gloomy weather.

The minimum temperature, however, took a dip to 16.7 degree Celsius following yesterday's downpour which continued through the night. Yesterday's minimum temperature was 17.3 degrees.

The MET office has forecast partly cloudy sky with a minimum temperature of 16 degree Celsius.

The maximum temperature also slumped to 20.6 degrees from 27-28 degrees a few days ago.

Humidity in the air hovered around 96 per cent in the morning which decreased to 87 per cent late in the evening.

Rainfall was recorded at 24.7 mm, MET sources added.
