State Governor to issue notification

Hyderabad, Feb 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameshwar Thakur will issue notification tomorrow, calling upon 21 local authorities, graduates and eight teachers and Constitutencies of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, to elect 44 members from the Council Constitutencies.

The Election Commission of India also would issue another notification on February 15, fixing the schedule for poll as required under Sections 30 and 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.

An official release here said the election would be conducted on March 17.
