Policemen injured in stone pelting
Madhepura, Feb 14 (UNI) Several students and two policemen were injured in stone pelting by examinees protesing against the expulsion of their fellow examiness from the centre for copying during the Intermediate examinations here today.
Police said the expulsion of 15 examinees from the Intermediate examinations triggered protests from the students who pelted stones on policemen at a local statdium centre. Police resorted to mild lathicharge to control the unruly students.
Several students as well as two policemen were injured in the incident.
Some vehicles were also damaged in the stone throwing.
