Nitish government misusing public money on propaganda: RJD
Patna, Feb 14 (UNI) The RJD today accused the state government of misusing public money for making false propaganda of its achievements.
They alleged that huge amounts of money were being spent to organise functions for launching various schemes.
Talking to reporters here, state RJD president Abdul Bari Siddiqui and national spokesman of the party Shyam Rajak said Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was engaged in extracting the political mileage from functions orgainsed for launching various welfare and development schemes in the state.
'' Government machinery is being misused to bring people to public meetings on the occasions of launching of such schemes which were being turned as political meetings by the Chief Minister,'' they alleged.
''Mr Kumar is spending Rs 400 - 500 crore for schemes in each district, including several Centre-sponsored schemes while the state government is taking the credit for all,'' they charged.
They also lambasted the Nitish government for its failure in fulfilling the pre-poll promises and said that the NDA government was making lofty claims only to befool the common man on development while the ground realities continued to remain unchanged.
