Night curfew partially lifted
Indore, Feb 14 (UNI) Night curfew was lifted in four police station areas of Madhya Pradesh's commercial capital that witnessed communal violence on February 12.
Inspector-General Rajendra Kumar and Collector Renu Pant told reporters here that the curfew was relaxed twice during the day in Pandrinath, Chhatripura and Malhargunj. The first relaxation from 0600-0900 hrs was extended till 1000 hrs and the second relaxation from 1400-1600 hrs was extended to 1700 hrs.
Curfew will be relaxed in these areas from 0600-1800 hrs tomorrow.
Night curfew was lifted in Raoji Bazaar, Sarafa, Sadar Bazaar and Central Kotwali.
''More than 200 arrests were executed and 18 stabbing weapons seized. Searches are continuing,'' said Mr Kumar.
