Narayan Rao appointed as NDTV CEO

New Delhi, Feb 14 (UNI) Television channel NDTV has elevated Mr KVL Narayan Rao as its CEO.

He will oversee the businesses of the NDTV Group in India and worldwide and the implementation of a common code of conduct across the group companies.

Mr Narayan Rao has been with NDTV since 1995 and was responsible for the human resources, administration and operations of the company.

''With Narayan's rich experience in media broadcast and his leadership experience, he is the best person to steer NDTV in its rapid growth phase,'' Mr Prannoy Roy, Chairman NDTV Ltd, said in a statement.

The NDTV Group is set for entering the non-news business with its entertainment channel in partnership with film maker Karan Johar.
