Mohite should not have resigned in 'haste' : Manohar Joshi
Mumbai, Feb 14 (UNI) Senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Manohar Joshi today said Subodh Mohite, Sena MP from Ramtek, should not have taken the decision to resign from Lok Sabha and the party, in a 'haste'.
Mr Joshi told UNI ''Mr Subodh Mohite had not sought any appointment with Sena Supremo Balasaheb Thackeray or party Executive President Uddhav Thackeray when he had gone to meet them along with elected councillors from Nagpur at their residence in Bandra recently.'' Mr Joshi said Mr Uddhav Thackeray asked Mr Mohite to seek an appointment.
Sources in Shiv Sena also hinted that Mr Mohite, who was elected as Sena MP in 2004 general elections from Ramtek in Vidarbha, was involved in 'anti-party' activities.
