Jockey A Velu suspended for careless riding

Bangalore, Feb 14 (UNI) Jockey A Velu, the rider of AKira, in the D.McPherson Memorial Plate of last Saturday's race was suspended by the stipendiary stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club from riding in races with effect from 21-2-07 to 28-2-07 for careless riding on his mount.
