Isolated rains in AP; mercury dips

Hyderabad, Feb 14 (UNI) Night temperatures fell over Andhra Pradesh as isolated rain occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the last 24 hours.

However, dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema, the Weather Office here said.

Minimum temperatures significantly fell at many places over Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. They were below normal at a few places over Telangana but above normal at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

The lowest minimum temperature of 15 degree C was recorded at Medak.

Bhimadole, Chintalapudi, Koyyalagudem and Polavaram in West Godavari district recorded rainfall of three cm each.

Isolated rain or thundershowers were likely to occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Mainly dry weather would prevail over Rayalaseema and Telangana.

Hyderabad would experience partly cloudy skies. Minimum temperature would be around 17 degree Celsius.
