Information warriors celebrate 96th anniversary

Hyderabad, Feb 14 (UNI) The 96th anniversary of the Corps of Signals was celebrated with pride by all signallers in the city today.

On this occasion VSM Brigadier Rajesh Pant expressed his opinion on the glorious past of the Corps signifying the triumphs, sacrifices and contributions made by all ranks to make the Signals arm progressive to match the information needs of the Indian Army.

The Corps had been in the forefront to implement an extensive, robust and reliable communication and Information Technology infrastructure and was also for acting as a catalyst to make the Army's operations network centre, he added.

On this occasion, retired and serving signalers of the station came together and participated in various other programmes, which were organised in Andhra Sub-Area Sig Coy and 54 Infantry Division Regiment.

All senior officers in station also meet at a central function being organized at Signals Officer's mess.
