Gujarat seeks Japanese investment

New Delhi, Feb 14 (UNI) Gujarat Industries Minister Anil Patel today asked Japanese companies to take advantage of the investment opportunies in the state.

''Gujarat has identified key investment opportunities for Japanese companies,'' Mr Patel told a visiting Japanese delegation led by Mr T Kitamure, Vice-Minister for International Affairs, here.

Mr Patel said Gujarat was keen on further exploring and expanding its business collaboration with Japan.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi's forthcoming visit to Japan in April to explore the possibility of investment in special economic zones in Gujarat also figure at the meeting, a press release issued by the Gujarat Information Centre here said.
