Goods train derails in Kurukshetra
Kurukshetra, Feb 14 (UNI) A goods train carrying containers from Delhi to Gobindgarh in Punjab got derailed near the Kurukshetra railway station this morning.
Six of the containers of the train went off the track on railway line number two near the loading platform.
Since the train was moving on the loop line, the accident did not cause any disruption in passenger train traffic. No loss has been reported.
The railway officials for maintenance of tracks have been summoned from Ambala office of the Northern Railways and the Kurukshetra railway police have cardoned off the area.
