Dubai to be the new Mecca for aviation studies and programmes
Mumbai, Feb 14 (UNI) Aerospace major, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), a leading conglomerate operating from the Middle East has expanded its operations, by opening the DAE University in Dubai offering various aviation degree programmes, also sets its eyes on potential students particularly from South East Asian economies.
DAE University, is a world class aviation campus set-up in the great environment of United Arab Emirates (UAE), Asian&Indian students must seize the opportunity to explore their avaiation dreams, particularly when the airline industry in India is growing, Bill Hampton, Director for admissions&enrollment management, DAE University, who was in the city on Tuesday told UNI.
DAE University in association with the British University Cranfield is offering Master of Science (MSc) programmes in Airport planning andManagement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Air Transport Management and Aerospace Vehicle Design from the fall semester of 2007 to its first batch of students, he added.
Declining to comment on any investment in the Indian aviation sector,Hampton emphasised that the Indian airline industry is growing at a breathtaking speed, hence a lot of new opportunities will come in the way of Indian students to build up a successful career.
He said that an estimated 1500 new airbuses have been ordered by various Indian companies, in addition to that major revamps of airports and new airport projects will need skilled personnels, this is what DAE university is offering to Indian students.
Hampton, who is expected to visit other Indian cities in the coming days to brief the Indian student community about DAE degrees and its great prospects in the airline industry expects a huge response from India.
The tuition fees for the programms offered by DAE University at Bachelor and Master levels range from 25,000 USD to 35,000 USD per year in accordance with the programmes.
