Drizzles likely in MP
Bhopal, Feb 14 (UNI) Despite an upper air cyclonic circulation weakening over northern and western Madhya Pradesh, drizzles are likely over the entire state in the next 24 hours even as agriculture experts warned that such rain could extensively damage crop.
''There is no possibility of further hail and fog,'' said Regional Meteorological Centre Director D P Dubey.
The lowest overnight temperature was 8 degrees Celsius recorded at the ancient temple town Ujjain.
Standing crop sustained hail damage at more than a dozen villages in Shivpuri district.
''Until February 12, hail and downpours damaged crop in Jabalpur, Patan, Shahpura, Sehora and Majhouli,'' said District Collector Sanjay Dubey.
Overnight precipitation figures were Khajuraho 7.6 mm, Bhopal 4.2, Satna 3.4, Sagar 2.9 and Ujjain 2.6.
