Curfew relaxed in Indore
Indore, Feb 14 (UNI) Curfew clamped in three police station areas of the city on Monday was relaxed from 0600 to 1000 hours today to enable women to purchase essential commodities.
No untoward incident had been reported during the curfew relaxation, Acting Collector Renu Pant said.
Schools and colleges remained closed in Pandrinath, Malharganj and Chhatripura police station areas and granting further relaxation in curfew would be considered in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, night curfew remained in force in Raojibazar, Sarafa, Central Kotwali and Sadarbazar police station areas as a precautionary measure.
A total of 171 people had been arrested so far following Monday's violent incidents when members of two communities clashed and resorted to arson and violence after a minor incident of eve-teasing.
