CRPF personnel killed in blast
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Feb 14 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force head constable was killed and a constable severely injured today after a landmine , planted by naxals, exploded while being defused at Aranpur in naxal-affected Dantewada district, the police said.
A patrol, including a bomb disposal squad, found some partially buried wires and began defusing the device when it exploded. The deceased was identified as Head Constable Tarachand, Constable V Mohan was hospitalised in Dantewada.
Recently, a similar incident killed seven security personnel and injured 12 in Bhairamgarh.
Two tribals were gunned down last night in south Bastar.
Aganpalli (35) was targeted in Kandulnar village while Hawda Aamtu was killed in Kaker village.
