Centre launches online quiz contest on NE

Aizawl, Feb 14: To promote tourism in Northeast region, the Union Ministry of Tourism has launched an online quiz contest here, a state tourism official said here today.

The winners of the contest will get a free trip for seven days with a family of four to the region, sources said, The tourism officials announced the online site for the contest as www.incredibleindia.org.

Apart from that, the Centre has initiated a Private-Public Partnership for Water Rafting, Mountaineering, Rock Climbing, Trekking, Hiking and Wind Surfing in the region.

The contest closes on March 31, 2007.
