ABVP activists burn St Valentine's effigy

Tirupati, Feb 14 (UNI) Protesting against Valentine's Day celebrations, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists burnt a St Valentine's effigy here today.

The activists led by ABVP leader Amar observed the day as 'black day', saying it cast a slur on the traditional Indian marriage system.

Later, the activists forcibly closed down greeting card shops in the town.
