About 5 MT imported wheat arrives at ports

New Delhi, Feb 14 (UNI) Of the 5.5 million tonne of wheat imported through the State Trading Corporation, 4.993 million tonne has arrived at eight ports across the country.

The balance 557,000 tonne is expected to arrive by this month end, an official release said here today.

Of the 5.5 million tonne of wheat received on Monday, Mundra Port got 2.36 MT, Kandla 1.01 MT, Vizag 560,000 tonne, Chennai 530,000 tonne, Tuticorin 200,000 tonne, Kakinada 110,000 tonne, Mumbai 100,000 tonne and Cochin 80,000 tonne.
