VHP to hold rallies against V-Day celebrations
Vijayawada, Feb 13 (UNI) The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) would organise rallies in all the cities throughout the country on Valentine's Day tomorrow to register its protest against such ''foreign-born'' celebrations.
VHP Andhra Pradesh unit vice-president Y Lokanatha Sarma told UNI here that the Valentine's Day celebrations did not remove Indian culture. ''The liberty youngsters enjoy on this day is nothing but the influeance of the western countries,'' he alleged.
VHP international president Praveen Togadia would lead the rally at Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, he added.
