Standard XII examinations from February 21
Pune, Feb 13 (UNI) The 12th standard examinations, to be conducted by the Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (MSSHSEB), will commence from February 21.
Physically challenged students, and students suffering from dyslexia, dysleculia, and dysgraphia will be permitted to use calculators for Mathematics, while such commerce students will be allowed the use of calculators for book keeping and accountancy.
However, no mobiles will be allowed, an official release here today said.
The English paper will have four booklets of questions in a multiple choice format.
Strict security arrangements will be in place in all the 1708 examination centres and their would be video recording, the release added.
District officials and the Board officials will pay surprise visits to the centres. Flying squads too would be employed to ensure fair practice during the examinations, the release said.
Over 10.41 lakh students, 4.14 lakh of them females, have registered for the examinations, the release said.
